You've been busy, Mary. You have an amazing talent. The whole world should see your work!

I have an idea if you would like more people to view your mosaics. Don't be shy.

You could put one of these photos on your other blog in a permanent place with a link "To see more ..." or something to that effect.

Mary,

This mailbox is the best mailbox I have ever seen! I have a feeling everything you touch turns into a beautiful mosaic.

I'm adding you to my "sweet sites" so I come back here more often.

Thank you everyone. Really. I am working on my own backsplash and then I want a mailbox. What better advertisement. Then a website.

Mary,

I came here to say... from your comments it looks like you're itching to get creative. I'm giving you a friendly little push, if you need it. Sometimes my paintings have to be put off for life's other business. So, when I'm short of time I fill that creative need with photography. I look forward to seeing more of you mosaics or a painting.

Chewy,
You're so perceptive! I am brimming w/creative ideas for sinks and mirrors etc. I meant to go out to the studio today but got bogged down in office crap. Shooting for tomorrow. Thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks for commenting on my blog on my sister-in-law Susan's fabric paining. I should send her here to see your amazing work. I will!

He did! Hi Mary, your mosaics are very nice - I especially like the built-ins you did for the kitchens/bathrooms.

There's such a wonderful sense of connection to people who actually made everything they required. That they did it with love and centered minds is a marvel and happy I am to see you continuing the tradition.

Oh, kindred spirit, I cant believe I haven't found these pages before....this is absolutely gorgeous work....totally breathtaking! I wish you weren't so far away, I just shared a truck load, yup, a truck load of tile with a friend, it took forever to load it up! (And of course, it took forever to collect it!) What beautiful work here....just breathtaking!
peace~love~and seaglass when we find it!

I love your mosaics. They are beautiful. My husband creates mosaics. He travelled to Venice with an empty rucksack & returned with it full of little tiles which was cheaper than buying the tiles in London, imported from Venice where the gold tiles are produced! You say reading is one of your interests. Do you read crime fiction at all?

I feel awful to not have responded to all the comments over here. I do neglect this blog.

Gary- I truly appreciate a creative soul. Thanks for pointing us in her direction.

Susan- Thank you. I don't think I'm good for much else. I find it very rewarding.

Mrsnesbitt- Isn't it always the way?

Singleton- I'd love to do something w/sea glass. I glaze and fire my tiles to exactly (well almost) the color I want. I am much less frustrated that way. I have used china and glass tiles too but enjoy the former process much better. I would LOVE to see what you do w/that truckload.

Leigh- I would love to see your husbands work also.
I read ANYTHING. After visiting your site I am looking forward to reading your book if I can find it? Any suggestions?

How on earth do you create curved mosaics? They are stunning, Mary. I suggest you abandon everything else in your life (apart from your family!!!) and do nothing but create mosaics. The world is starved of beautiful creative artefacts. Give the mass producing giants a run for their money and get your stuff out there. I'd buy it. Who wouldn't? I can see your mosaics spreading, like tiny rivulets of colour across the grey canvas of the world... I exaggerate somewhat.... but you get the gist.

Hi Mary,
Thank you very much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I replied there, where I could see your comment, but thought I'd drop by yours to have another look at your mosaics and show them to my husband ("Wow!")
I'm planning to post a new topic every Wednesday on my blog but you're welcome to visit any time. Keep in touch.

Hi Mary, just dropped by for a look... it's addictive! Your house must be an amazing place. My husband's mosaic table is a real talking point in our house, but your place must be buzzing.

Mary, for some reason your other blog won't load on my vintage laptop, but these mosaics are stunning.

The mailbox is so cheery and welcoming, quite intricate too. Happy, happy, joy, joy.
